Noche de San Juan

Noche de San Juan

Hey hey! 🤙

We’re here to give you the update of Noche de San Juan, coming up this Saturday, June 23, 2018. 🇵🇷 Celebrating a mixture of San Juan Bautista, our capital city, and the first evening of the summer solstice, we use this night to get rid of all the “negative energy” (or “bad luck”) that accumulates throughout the year. 🙅‍♀

Now, there are a number of ways to get rid of this energy and welcome new things! Many people will take on the beach and throw themselves in the ocean’s water 7 times at exactly 12am. 🏖 If you won’t be around beach water, you can also take a shower with your back to the water, or celebrate the ridding of this bad luck through flowers. 🌻

This “baptism” cleanses our people and leaves a new space for amazing opportunities throughout the year.

Not a fan of the water? You can also do this by eating fruits, candles, incenses, aromatic waters, or St. John the Baptist figures as well. 🕯

Join us in this celebration and don’t miss out on a chance to cleanse yourself and open your heart to new things! ❤
